Step 1<\/h1>\n
To begin, click on the Apple icon in the top left-hand corner of the screen, and then select \u201cSystem Preferences.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/section>\n Choose \u201cSecurity\u201d<\/strong> under \u201cPersonal\u201d<\/strong> settings. You will see a window like the one below. Select \u201cFirewall\u201d<\/strong> and click on \u201cAdvanced.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n If the \u201cAdvanced\u2026\u201d<\/strong> button does not respond, click the lock at the lower left to unlock and change your settings. Select the \u201c+\u201d underneath the white box.<\/p>\n You may need to uncheck \u201cBlock all incoming connections\u201d to do this. Select \u201cApplications\u201d from the column on the left. Find \u201cAnonymizer Universal\u201d in the center column and select it. Click on \u201cAdd.\u201d Click \u201cOK,\u201d then close the \u201cSecurity and Applications\u201d windows. If you are using a third-party firewall, please open ports 500, 4500, 1701, 1702, and 1194. Examples of firewall configurations can be found in the firewall sections mentioned on the left.<\/p>\n If you are using a router, VPN pass through must be enabled and the ports given above allowed.
