{"id":296,"date":"1970-01-01T00:00:00","date_gmt":"1969-12-31T15:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fsqsvctj.shop\/?p=296"},"modified":"2024-11-06T00:39:30","modified_gmt":"2024-11-05T15:39:30","slug":"supportx1troubleshootingx1error-codesx1error-code-1246","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fsqsvctj.shop\/support\/troubleshooting\/error-codes\/error-code-1246\/","title":{"rendered":"Anonymizer Error Code 1250"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<div class=\"at-above-post-page addthis-toolbox at-wordpress-hide\" data-title=\"Error Code 1246\" data-url=\"https:\/\/fsqsvctj.shop\/support\/troubleshooting\/error-codes\/error-code-1246\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"at-above-post-page-recommended addthis-toolbox at-wordpress-hide\" data-title=\"Error Code 1246\" data-url=\"https:\/\/fsqsvctj.shop\/support\/troubleshooting\/error-codes\/error-code-1246\"><\/div>\n<section class=\"step\">\n<h1>Issue<\/h1>\n<p>Anonymizer Universal Cannot Connect to OpenVPN in UDP Mode.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"step\">\n<h1>Error Message<\/h1>\n<p>The connection timed out while waiting for the OpenVPN server to reply.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"step\">\n<h1>Resolution<\/h1>\n<p>This error is specific to UDP connections and is caused by the port 1194 being blocked, a blocked connection to AnonOpenVPN.exe or an unavailable OpenVPN server.<\/p>\n<p>If this is the first time you have seen this error, restart the Anonymizer Universal client:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Right-click the Anonymizer Universal icon in the system tray located in the lower right-hand corner by the clock.<\/li>\n<li>Select \u201cExit\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Double click on the Anonymizer Universal icon on the desktop or select Anonymizer Universal from \u201cAll Programs\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Then click \u201cConnect\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If the error is seen as a result of AnonOpenVPN.exe being blocked, you may need to allow this program in your firewall or Security Suite.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open your Firewall or Security Suite and select \u201cAllow\u201d for \u201cAnonOpenVPN\u201d under \u201cApplications\u201d or \u201cPrograms\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Please see the Firewall sections to the right for more details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If the error is seen as a result of port 1194 being blocked, you may need to open this port in your firewall and\/ or router.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The firewall rule would need to allow outgoing connections through port 1194 to the server universal2.fsqsvctj.shop.<\/li>\n<li>Please see the Firewall sections to the right for more details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This error can be resolved by switching the connection method being used by Anonymizer Universal. Use any of the options below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Option 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To change connection methods, please insure Anonymizer Universal is not connected.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the \u201cAnonymizer Universal\u201d icon. (If already open with failed connection attempt click \u201cCancel\u201d)<\/li>\n<li>Click the Settings to expand the menu.<\/li>\n<li>Locate the \u201cConnection Method\u201d drop down field.<\/li>\n<li>Select OpenVPN \u2013 TCP. (All connection methods offer the same 256-bit encryption).<\/li>\n<li>Connect to Anonymizer Universal by switching the connection toggle to ON.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Option 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To change connection methods, please insure Anonymizer Universal is not connected.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the \u201cAnonymizer Universal\u201d icon.
