Issue: Cannot connect to OpenVPN \u2013 v1.3<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n\nError Messages(s):<\/th>\n Error Codes(s):<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<\/thead>\n \n\nThe connection to the OpenVPN server timed out while authenticating user information.<\/td>\n N\/A<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \nThe connection timed out while getting configuration information from the OpenVPN server.<\/td>\n N\/A<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \nThe connection timed out while contacting the OpenVPN server.<\/td>\n N\/A<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\nResolution(s):<\/strong> These errors occur when OpenVPN authentication times out on the server side, Anonymizer Universal cannot retrieve configuration information from the server after authentication is complete or the server is unavailable. Most likely, this is due to an unavailable OpenVPN server, a blocked connection to universal2.fsqsvctj.shop, or the OpenVPN driver may not have installed correctly. This error can occur while using both UDP and TCP mode of OpenVPN, however, we find the issue most prevalent using UDP mode.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\nStep 1<\/h1>\n
If this is the first time you have seen this error, restart the Anonymizer Universal client:<\/p>\n
\n- Right-click the Anonymizer Universal icon in the tray and select \u201cExit\u201d or from the Anonymizer Universal menu select \u201cQuit Anonymizer Universal.\u201d<\/li>\n
- Click on the Anonymizer Universal icon in the dock or click on Anonymizer Universal within \u201cApplications\u201d.<\/li>\n
- Then click \u201cConnect\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/section>\n

If you continue to receive an error after restarting the software, this may be resolved by switching the protocol used by Anonymizer Universal. Use any of the options below.<\/p>\n
