Most likely, this is due to an unavailable OpenVPN server or a blocked connection to AnonOpenVPN.exe. This error can occur while using both UDP and TCP mode of OpenVPN.<\/p>\n<div class=\"slides\">\n<div><span>\/\/ Step 1<\/span><\/p>\n<p>If this is the first time you have seen this error, restart the Anonymizer Universal client:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Right-click the Anonymizer Universal icon in the system tray located in the lower right-hand corner by the clock.<\/li>\n<li>Select <b>\u201cExit\u201d<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Double click on the Anonymizer Universal icon on the desktop or select Anonymizer Universal from <b>\u201cAll Programs\u201d<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Then click <b>\u201cConnect\u201d<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div><span>\/\/ Step 2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>If the error is seen as a result of AnonOpenVPN.exe being blocked, you may need to allow this program in your firewall or Security Suite.<\/p>\n<p>Open your Firewall or Security Suite and select <b>\u201cAllow\u201d<\/b> for <b>\u201cAnonOpenVPN\u201d<\/b> under <b>\u201cApplications\u201d<\/b> or <b>\u201cPrograms\u201d<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Please see <b>\u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/fsqsvctj.shop\/support\/universal\/win\/firewall-software\">Firewall- Software<\/a>\u201d<\/b> for more specific instructions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><span>\/\/ Step 3<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This error can be resolved by switching the protocol being used by Anonymizer Universal. Use any of the options below.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><span class=\"red\">\/\/ Option 1<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Click on Preferences <b>\u201ci\u201d<\/b> in the lower right-hand corner of Anonymizer Universal. In the<b>\u201cPreferences\u201d<\/b> tab, expand <b>\u201cAdvanced Connection Settings\u201d<\/b> and slide the bar to select<b>\u201cTCP\u201d<\/b>. Then click <b>\u201cDone\u201d<\/b> and <b>\u201cConnect.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><span class=\"red\">\/\/ Option 2<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Click on Preferences <b>\u201ci\u201d<\/b> in the lower right-hand corner of Anonymizer Universal. In the<b>\u201cPreferences\u201d<\/b> tab, expand <b>\u201cAdvanced Connection Settings\u201d<\/b> and slide the bar to select<b>\u201cUDP\u201d<\/b>. Then click <b>\u201cDone\u201d<\/b> and <b>\u201cConnect.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><span class=\"red\">\/\/ Option 3<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Click on Preferences <b>\u201ci\u201d<\/b> in the lower right-hand corner of Anonymizer Universal.
