  2. The L2TP connection attempt failed because the security layer encountered a processing error during initial negotiations with the remote computer.<\/li>\n
  3. The L2TP connection attempt failed because security negotiation timed out.<\/li>\n
  4. The network connection between your computer and the VPN server could not be established because the remote server is not responding. This could be because one of the network devices (for example, firewalls, NAT, routers) between your computer and the remote server is not configured to allow VPN connections.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/td>\n

    These errors are received when the connection to the Anonymizer Universal’s servers is lost or blocked. Begin by clicking \u201cTry Again.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    \/\/ Step 2<\/span><\/p>\n

    Check for any updates to Anonymizer Universal.<\/p>\n

    1. Click on Preferences \u201ci\u201d<\/b> in the lower right-hand corner of Anonymizer Universal.<\/li>\n
    2. Click on the \u201cUpdates\u201d<\/b> tab.<\/li>\n
    3. Click on \u201cCheck Now\u201d<\/b>.<\/li>\n
    4. If an update in available, please download and install the update.<\/li>\n
    5. Click \u201cConnect\u201d<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n
      \/\/ Step 3<\/span><\/p>\n

      Follow these steps to ensure you have all the services properly enabled.<\/p>\n

      1. Click on the \u201cStart\/Windows\u201d<\/b> icon and open the \u201cControl Panel.\u201d<\/b><\/li>\n
      2. Open \u201cAdministrative Tools.\u201d<\/b><\/li>\n
      3. Open \u201cServices.\u201d<\/b><\/li>\n
      4. Double-click each of the following Services and set to \u201cAutomatic\u201d<\/b>\n
