To begin, simply click on &#8220;<strong>Create a Nym.<\/strong>&#8221; You can create any name that will appear in the following format . You will be asked to enter Your Nyms email Address. This is the convenient personal email address all your Nyms will be routed to.<\/p>\n<p>Once you have created a Nym, you can give that alias email address to any Web site or person that you think may send you Spam or give your email address to other untrustworthy parties. The response to the Nyms address will then be routed to the email address that you designate.<\/p>\n<p>If you receive spam from a Nym, the name of the Nym it was sent to will be included in the text of the email. You can then click on &#8220;<strong>Disable this Nym<\/strong>&#8221; in the text of the email or go to &#8220;<strong>Manage My Nyms<\/strong>&#8221; in the software and disable that Nym so you will no longer receive that spam.<\/p>\n<p>If you wish to send an Anonymous email using a Nym, you can choose to use that feature in the Nyms Web site. <a href=\"\/company\/legal\/terms_of_use.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Please note that Anonymizer reserves the right to monitor anonymous emails for abuse.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"blue_text\"><\/h3>\n<p><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<div align=\"right\" style=\"margin:12px 15px 40px 0\"><a href=\"#top\">Top<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<hr class=\"products\" style=\"margin-top:25px;margin-bottom:25px\" \/><a name=\"q2\"><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"TS\">\n<h3 class=\"blue_text\" style=\"margin-top: 0px\">How can I test that Nyms is working?<\/h3>\n<p>Please send an email from the Nyms Web site to another email address that is not the designated email address your Nyms are routed to. Please note, it is not possible to send an email from a Nym to a Nym or from a Nym to the personal email address you have designated. This creates a circular loop that may cause a significant delay or keep the traffic from reaching the destination you have requested.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"blue_text\"><\/h3>\n<p><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<div align=\"right\" style=\"margin:12px 15px 40px 0\"><a href=\"#top\">Top<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<hr class=\"products\" style=\"margin-top:25px;margin-bottom:25px\" \/><a name=\"q3\"><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"TS\">\n<h3 class=\"blue_text\" style=\"margin-top: 0px\">How do I ensure my Nyms reply does not include personal and identifying information?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Use the &#8220;<strong>Reply<\/strong>&#8221; feature and the reply email address will be populated with a tag routing the email through the Nyms server. This will ensure the reply has your Nyms address rather than your normal email address<\/li>\n<li>Please ensure that your email does not automatically provide your name or a signature when replying.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the original email and header if it contains identifying information.<\/li>\n<li>Delete the links to disable or update this Nym in the text of the email. <\/li>\n<li>If you have multiple accounts in your email client, for example, Outlook or Thunderbird, you must reply from the email address the Nym was sent to. <\/li>\n<li>Do not add additional recipients as it is not possible to send to more than one address at a time.<\/li>\n<li>When sending to a Nyms email address, please use the address in the &#8220;<strong>To<\/strong>&#8221; field. If you use the Nyms Web site or the software there will not be a record of the Anonymous email messages sent unless you send a copy of the message to your personal email address. If this were to happen, they would receive your email from that Nym. To avoid this security risk, any unwanted &#8220;Nyms&#8221; are simply disabled instead. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"blue_text\"><\/h3>\n<p><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<div align=\"right\" style=\"margin:12px 15px 40px 0\"><a href=\"#top\">Top<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<hr class=\"products\" style=\"margin-top:25px;margin-bottom:25px\" \/><a name=\"q8\"><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"TS\">\n<h3 class=\"blue_text\" style=\"margin-top: 0px\">How do I change the email address my Nyms are sent to?<\/h3>\n<p>Click on &#8220;<strong>Preferences<\/strong>&#8221; and &#8220;<strong>Update<\/strong>&#8221; and enter the email address to receive your Nyms.
