This upgrade contains new functionalities including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An upgrade from the .NET 1.1 Framework to 2.0 <\/li>\n<li>Allowing users to run as non-privileged users as well as administrators in Vista<\/li>\n<li>Enhanced browser compatibility which consists of better streaming media support and more compatibility with SSL enabled sites for Anonymous Surfing<\/li>\n<li>A streamlined installer <\/li>\n<li>Greatly reduced download size<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Anonymizer products are still compatible with Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Availability and Pricing<\/strong><br \/>All current Anonymizer customers will automatically be upgraded to the new framework on Nov. 1, 2007, with no changes to pricing or their current subscriptions. &#8220;We want to make the entire update as smooth as possible for our customers. By handling the upgrade on the backend, customers will experience a seamless evolution to support Microsoft&#8217;s Vista platform,&#8221; said Jonathan Moneymaker, vice president of Operations.
