Mac Firewall Configurations<\/i><\/p>\n

To configure your Mac firewall to allow Anonymizer Universal traffic, please follow these steps:<\/p>\n

Step 1Top \u2191<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

To begin, click on the Apple icon in the top left side corner and select \u201cSystem Preferences.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

Step 2Top \u2191<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

Choose \u201cSecurity\u201d<\/b> under \u201cPersonal\u201d<\/b> settings.<\/p>\n

Step 3Top \u2191<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

You will see a window like the one below. Select \u201cFirewall\u201d<\/b> and click on \u201cAdvanced.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

If the \u201cAdvanced\u2026\u201d<\/b> button does not respond. Click the lock at the lower left to unlock this access<\/p>\n

Step 4Top \u2191<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

Select the \u201c+\u201d<\/b> underneath the white box.<\/p>\n

You may need to uncheck \u201cBlock all incoming connections\u201d<\/b> to do this.<\/p>\n

Step 5Top \u2191<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

Select \u201cApplications\u201d<\/b> from the column on the left. Find \u201cAnonymizer Universal\u201d<\/b> in the center column and select it. Click on \u201cAdd.\u201d<\/b> Click \u201cOK,\u201d<\/b> then close the \u201cSecurity and Applications\u201d<\/b> windows.<\/p>\n

If you are using a third-party firewall, please open ports 500, 4500, 1701, and 1702. Examples of firewall configurations can be found here.
